EXPERIENCE

Consultation and Measurement:

The tailor and client consult to discuss style, fabric, and preferences. Precise measurements are then taken for a perfect fit, covering key areas like chest, shoulders, sleeves, waist, hips, and inseam.

Fabric Selection:

The tailor and client collaboratively choose the fabric for the suit. Fabrics range from fine wool and silk blends to lightweight linens, with considerations given to the suit's purpose, season, and the client's preferences.

Pattern Making:

Based on the measurements taken, a bespoke pattern is created. The pattern serves as a template for cutting the fabric and ensures that the suit will be tailored to the client's unique body shape and proportions.

Cutting the Fabric:

Using the bespoke pattern, the tailor carefully cuts the chosen fabric to ensure precision and accuracy. Attention is paid to the direction of the fabric's weave and pattern matching.

Assembly and Canvasing:

The suit jacket's outer fabric is sewn together, and the canvas interlining is added to provide structure and shape. The canvas is hand-basted to the jacket, allowing it to conform to the wearer's body over time.

Full Construction And Final Fitting:

Once the fit is perfected, the suit undergoes full construction. This includes attaching the lining, sewing buttonholes, adding pockets, and completing other intricate details.

The client returns for a final fitting. During this stage, the tailor ensures that the suit fits impeccably, addressing any minor adjustments needed for the perfect fit.

Basting Fitting:

A preliminary fitting, known as the basting fitting, takes place. The suit is partially sewn, allowing the tailor to make any necessary adjustments to the fit and address any specific requests from the client.

Finishing Touches &Delivery

The suit undergoes final pressing to enhance its shape and appearance. Buttons, buttonholes, and other finishing touches are added. The suit is meticulously inspected for quality and craftsmanship.

The completed suit is presented to the client. The tailor provides care instructions and ensures that the client is satisfied with the final product.
